Where the classroom meets the lab
I’m a physics lecturer with a strong academic background and experience teaching intermediate-level students. I deliver clear, concept-based lessons and connect theory with real applications so understanding sticks.
Alongside teaching, I’m active in materials science research at the University of Narowal under Mr. Mohsin Shahbaz, applying scientific concepts to practical problems — and I keep improving how I teach, engage students and grow academically.

Turning sunlight into cleaner water
My MPhil thesis, “Synthesis and Investigation of Physical Properties of Doped Bismuth Ferrite Prepared by the Chemical Method (Sol-Gel) for Photocatalytic Applications”, studies Ba²⁺/Zn²⁺ co-doped BiFeO₃ nanoparticles as visible-light photocatalysts that break down dye pollutants.
Synthesize
A sol-gel Pechini (citric acid) route builds Bi₁₋ₓBaₓFe₁₋ᵧZnᵧO₃ nanoparticles, with Ba²⁺ on the Bi site and Zn²⁺ on the Fe site.
Characterize
XRD with Rietveld refinement, SEM and UV-Vis DRS with Tauc analysis reveal structure, morphology and band gap of each composition.
Degrade
Under visible light the samples break down Methylene Blue dye. The optimum composition, BFO-2 (x = y = 0.10), reaches 91% in 120 minutes.

Ba and Zn Co-Doped BiFeO₃ via Sol-Gel for Photocatalytic Applications
Studied the effects of doping on the structural, morphological and physical properties of BiFeO₃ using XRD, SEM and related characterization techniques, and evaluated the materials for their potential to enhance photocatalytic performance.

Investigated an injectable bone cement made from hydroxyapatite (HA) extracted from fish bone by calcination at 1000 °C. Formulations were prepared by mixing the extracted HA with 3M phosphoric acid at different powder-to-liquid ratios, then characterized by XRD, FTIR and EDX for phase composition, functional groups and elemental composition.
